Your safari begins with a morning departure from Arusha to Tarangire National Park, a scenic drive of about two hours. Spend the day exploring this baobab-dotted landscape, home to huge herds of elephants, buffaloes, and various predators. Tarangire’s river system supports abundant wildlife, especially in the dry season. After a picnic lunch and afternoon game drive, head to your lodge or tented camp near the park for dinner and overnight.

Tarangire to Serengeti

Tarangire to Serengeti

After breakfast, set out for the Central Serengeti, traveling through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. You'll enjoy game viewing along the way, with possible stops at scenic lookouts. By early to mid-afternoon, you'll arrive in the Seronera Valley, renowned for its year-round wildlife and predator density. Enjoy an en-route game drive before checking in to your camp or lodge in the central Serengeti. Dinner and overnight in the bush.

Central Serengeti to Ndutu

After breakfast and a short game drive, continue south toward the Ndutu region, located between the Serengeti and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The drive offers wildlife sightings along the way and a shift to woodland and grassland ecosystems. Depending on the season, especially from December to March, this area hosts hundreds of thousands of wildebeest during the calving season—a prime time for predator action. Arrive at your camp in time for lunch and enjoy an afternoon game drive before dinner and overnight.
