Landing in Antananarivo, at the international airport of Ivato, an English-speaking guide from our company will be waiting for you. For all network users who are willing to buy a SIM card, it is recommended to buy it in the shop box at the main entrance of the airport, and the assistance of the guide will help you to communicate more easily.

Day 2
Antananarivo to Antsirabe
Antananarivo to Antsirabe
Early departure with a private 4WD from the capital city to reach Antsirabe, the city of the water. On the way to a visit to the aluminum recycling handicrafter in Ambatolampy is on our schedule. Upon arrival in Antsirabe, after taking lunch in a recommended restaurant by the guide, we will make a short visit to the Zebu horn manufacturer and miniature in order to have a look o the skill of the local people.
Day 3
Antsirabe to Miandrivazo
Antsirabe to Miandrivazo
After a short city tour of Antsirabe to see the colonial town above the famous rickshaw, you will head to Miandrivazo, the city of the Sakalava people. On the way, you will cross the city of the gold founder. And a very different scenery from the rice field in the highland of Madagascar. The green desert side between the mountains will shape the road until you reach Miandrivazo.

Day 4
Down to the Tsiribihina River
Down to the Tsiribihina River
Heading to Masaikampy for reaching the boat, on the program, a visit to a wonderful waterfall named Anosin'ampela is the main highlight of the day. In the waterfall surrounded by green old endemic trees, we may encounter a brown lemur, well known as the fulvus Madagascariensis.
Lunch will be taken on the boat, and dinner will be served after setting up the tent. (A specific tent will be set up as a toilet)
The evening will be a folkloric party with the boat team, guitar, and African drum will be the theatre of the night.

Day 5
Down to the Tsiribihina River
Down to the Tsiribihina River
Always in the Tsiribihina River, today's destination would be Begidro village. This local village visit has the purpose of discovering the daily life of Malagasy people in the remote countryside. The walk may take you about 1 hour maximum. On the way, the guide would lead you into a local market, a primary school, and the main tobacco plantation.
This day would be the main day to spot wild crocodiles. Picnic lunches are scheduled in some good spots in order to enjoy the beauty of the western wildlife.
Later in the evening, you will have a visit to the first baobab, an Andasonia rubrustipa, one of the tallest baobabs in all other Madagascar.

Day 6
Belo to Bekopaka
Belo to Bekopaka
Today is the last day of the boat trip. Lunch still will be taken above the boat. Upon landing in Belo, a private 4WD would be there already waiting for you.
The evening would be a 4WD expedition until you reach the village of Bekopaka. The total drive may take about 4 hours off-road, plus 1 times crossing with a ferry boat.

Day 7
Visit of Tsingy National Park
Visit of Tsingy National Park
You'll have an early departure from the hotel to reach the entrance of the park. The total drive may take you about 1 hour, and the visit to the big Tsingy on the path Andamozavaky will be 4 hours. It is recommended to order a picnic from the hotel, as the return from the visit might be in the afternoon.
Water, walking boots, plus a torch are recommended for the walk. A protective climbing gear is granted to each visitor, as it is mandatory as well.

- Trekking and climbing in the limestone castle of the National Park of Tsingy de Bemaraha.

Day 8
Bekopaka to Kirindy Forest
Bekopaka to Kirindy Forest
You'll have an early departure from Bekopaka to reach Kirindy forest. On the way through the desert part of the Menabe region, you will enjoy the scenery of the baobab forest and the plantation of peanuts and cassava.
2 times ferry boats are used to cross.
Upon arrival in Kirindy forest, you will do the check-in at the hotel first and then head straight to the National Park of Kirindy for a night walk. The total walk may take you about 1 hour. The tour will be led by an English local guide from the park as it is mandatory.

- Night walk to spot endemic nocturnal species of Madagascar: Sportive lemurs, mouse lemurs, endemic owl, and the legendary Fosa.

Day 9
Kirindy to Morondava
Kirindy to Morondava
A sunrise in the Kirindy area amongst the highlights of the tour, as it would be a better spot for seeing the sun rising up through a giant baobab, which is quite a unique moment. Meanwhile, it is recommended to leave the hotel at 5:30 in the morning.
After breakfast, you will head again to the national park of Kirindy for a day visit, where you may encounter the legendary FOSA of Madagascar during the main season.
After lunch in the restaurant of Relais du Kirindy, you will head to Morondava city.
Wildlife Viewing activities:
- Early departure from the hotel to spot a sunrise from another side of the Kirindy Area.
- Day walk inside the national Park to spot different lemurs that breed in Madagascar.
- Visit of baobab along the way, the evening would end in the baobab alley, enjoying the sunset. (It is where Lonely Planet has done its greatest photo work all around Madagascar.).
