Sunrise Departure & Wild Safari Adventure

Your safari adventure begins at sunrise with pick-up from your accommodation in Hoedspruit. Enter Kruger National Park through Orpen Gate in a private open safari vehicle, perfect for photography and wildlife viewing. Enjoy a guided drive south toward Skukuza Rest Camp, stopping frequently for animal sightings and scenic views. Mid-morning, enjoy breakfast at a tranquil rest camp surrounded by the sounds of the bush. Continue your journey through diverse habitats, with a longer stop at another rest camp for lunch (at guests’ own expense). Upon arrival at Skukuza, check in to your comfortable air-conditioned bungalow. The afternoon is yours to unwind: swim, relax, or join your guide back on game drive before dusk. Dinner is available at the camp restaurant or can be self-catered (not included). Spend the night inside the park and fall asleep to the sounds of nature all around you.

Sunrise Safari & Scenic Journey Home

Begin the day with the peaceful sounds of the bush as you wake up inside Kruger. Enjoy a light packed breakfast before heading out on an early morning game drive- prime time for spotting wildlife while the park is still cool and active. Alternatively, you may opt for a SANParks-guided bush walk (subject to availability, additional cost) for a more immersive experience on foot. After the morning excursion, continue your scenic drive northward, enjoying final sightings along the way. A rest stop will be made at a camp for a comfort break and optional snack or drink. Exit the park via Orpen Gate and return to Hoedspruit in the early afternoon, arriving with unforgettable memories and photos from your safari adventure. Drop-off is at your original pick-up point or another location by arrangement.
