4-Day Wildlife Safari Experience in Kruger National Park

Scenic Journey from Orpen to Skukuza

Your safari adventure begins with a pickup in Hoedspruit, followed by a scenic drive into Kruger National Park via Orpen Gate. From there, we journey south through the park, soaking in the incredible wildlife and landscapes along the way. By afternoon, we arrive at Skukuza Rest Camp—your home for the next two nights.

After settling into your premium bungalow, enjoy an optional afternoon game drive until sundown. Guests may also choose to book a SANParks night drive or a guided morning bush walk (at an additional cost) for an even deeper experience of the bush.

Whether you want to relax and enjoy the camp’s facilities or spend all day exploring the wild on game drives, the pace is entirely up to you. Your guide is there to tailor the experience to your preferences, ensuring a flexible and unforgettable stay in the heart of Kruger.

From Skukuza to Satara- Into the Heart of Kruger

After breakfast and an optional morning activity at Skukuza, we set off on a scenic drive north toward Satara Rest Camp. This central region of Kruger is known for its open grasslands and high density of predators, offering excellent game-viewing opportunities throughout the day.

Along the way, we’ll take our time to stop for sightings, rest breaks, and to enjoy Kruger’s diverse landscapes. Your guide will tailor the route based on wildlife activity and your personal interests, making this more than just a transfer—it’s a moving safari.

In the afternoon, we arrive at Satara, where you’ll check into your bungalow and take in the peaceful bush surroundings. Depending on your energy and interest, you can enjoy an optional sunset drive or relax at camp. Night drives with SANParks are also available at an extra cost for those eager to experience the park after dark.

Final Safari Moments- Return back to Hoedspruit

On your final day, we make the most of the morning with a slow and scenic drive out of the park, giving you one last chance to soak in the beauty of Kruger and possibly spot a few more animals along the way. Departing from Satara, we head north and begin the journey back toward Hoedspruit, traveling through diverse landscapes and making stops for sightings, photos, and hopefully, more wildlife encounters.

This is a great time to reflect on the highlights of your trip, ask any last questions, and enjoy the peaceful rhythm of the bush one last time. Depending on your departure schedule, there is time to explore the park a bit more before heading out.

By early afternoon, we’ll arrive in Hoedspruit, where we say our goodbyes and drop you off at your chosen location. Though the safari ends here, the memories—and photos—will last a lifetime.
