Nairobi to Masai Mara Game Reserve

Your journey begins with an early morning departure from Nairobi as you embark on a scenic drive through the breathtaking Great Rift Valley. Along the way, enjoy a brief stop at a viewpoint, where you can admire the vast escarpments and capture stunning photos.
Continuing your journey, pass through the lively town of Narok, the gateway to the Masai Mara, before ascending the western escarpment into the rolling golden plains famously described as "Hemingway’s country"—the Serengeti ecosystem. Arrive at your lodge/camp in time for lunch and a short rest.
In the afternoon, set out on your first thrilling game drive in the world-renowned Masai Mara National Reserve. Keep your eyes peeled for the "Big Five"—lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, and buffalo—along with an abundance of other wildlife, including giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and a variety of antelope species. As the sun sets over the savannah, return to your lodge/camp for a relaxing evening.

Masai Mara Game Drive

Wake up to the sounds of the African wilderness and prepare for a full day of exploration in the Masai Mara. After breakfast, set off on an extensive game drive, venturing deeper into the reserve to witness nature’s drama unfold.
The Masai Mara is home to an incredible concentration of wildlife, including large prides of lions, cheetahs, leopards, and the elusive black rhino. From July to September, the park plays host to the Great Migration—one of the most spectacular wildlife phenomena on Earth—as millions of wildebeests and zebras cross the Mara River, braving the lurking crocodiles in search of greener pastures.
For an unforgettable experience, you may opt for an early morning hot air balloon safari (optional, at an extra cost).
During the evening, opt for a cultural visit to a Maasai village (optional) to learn about the rich traditions of this iconic warrior tribe. In the evening, return to your lodge/camp for dinner and a well-earned rest.
