Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve

At 8:00 am, you'll join the rest of the group at City Market Muindi Mbingu Street and depart Nairobi for a journey south along the floor of the Great Rift Valley. Then past Narok climb the western wall entering Hemingway's country ''Serengeti plans''. You'll have lunch at Narok. On arrival, you'll enjoy a game drive in this famous reserve. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at the camp.

Masai Mara National Reserve Full Game Drive

Full day at this famous reserve searching for wild game with an option to enjoy a balloon safari.
The Mara is the land of African legend: Lions are abundant throughout the park, as are the elephants, giraffes, and a variety of gazelle species and zebra. Cheetah and leopard are also regularly seen and, less commonly, rhino. The annual wildebeest migration, one of nature's few remaining wildlife spectacles, occurs in the Mara from July to September, where the big animals and their predators are present in abundance during the time frame of this trip. Several species of bee-eater, the flying rainbow that heads the list of the Mara's birds, occur in the reserve. As well as wildlife, the Masai Mara is also home to many members of the colorful Maasai people who may be seen around the borders of the park —Morans (warriors) loping across the plains, young boys herding goats, or elders grouped under a tree discussing matters of the day. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at the camp.

Lake Nakuru to Nairobi

After an early breakfast, you'll proceed on a game drive in this beautiful park. This shallow soda lake has been famous for its flamingos, but has also retained its reputation as an ornithologist’s delight, with more than 400 species of birds found here. You may get out of the vehicle at the lake shore to get a closer look at the birds. The nearby cliffs offer sightings of baboons, birds of prey, and scurrying hyraxes, as well as great views of the park. The national park covers 180 sq km and is home to warthogs, waterbuck, buffaloes, reedbuck, and the occasional leopard, as well as white and black rhinos, which were introduced to the park some years ago. You'll depart for Nairobi with lunch en route. You'll have a stop at the Great Rift Valley View Point. You'll arrive late afternoon and drop off at the pickup point, which is City Market Muindi Mbingu Street.
