Start your journey with an early morning departure from Arusha and drive through the Great Rift Valley and lush highlands to the Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s top wildlife destinations. Descend into the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera for a thrilling game drive, where you may spot the Big Five, including lions, elephants, and the endangered black rhino. After breakfast, enjoy a short Arusha City tour, visiting local markets and cultural sites. Then head to the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro for a guided hike to Materuni Waterfall, passing through lush coffee farms and Chagga villages. Learn about local coffee-making traditions and enjoy a refreshing dip at the base of the falls. Later in the afternoon, drive back to Arusha or Kilimanjaro Airport for your onward journey.
