Tanga to Mikumi

Our professional guide will pick up from Tanga at 8:00Am and drive to Mikumi National Park, which is approximately a 8-9hours drive. On transit you will stop in Morogoro for hot lunch before proceeding to Mikumi. You will arrive late therefore you will be taken to your accommodation which is Bastian Campsite, while as you are heading to the lodge you will enjoying the view of wildlife outside the park. Along the way you will find giraffes, monkeys, impalas, antelopes, Zebras etc. You will be contained in chalets ready for dinner, rest and relaxation.

Mikumi National Park

After breakfast in Bastian Camp which is the second day of the thrilling adventure, we start on a full-day game drive to spot animals in Mikumi national park. One of Mikumi's features is that it's stretched across a big plain, so you have the ability to spot a lot of animals. Mikumi National Park host animals like lion, elephant, buffalo, impala, zebras and many other wild animals. Enjoy your lunch at the picnic campsites in Mikumi national park. Late evening we head to the hotel for Dinner and overnight.

Mikumi to Tanga

Unfortunately, your Mikumi adventure is over.
At around 9:00 am, you'll head back to Tanga. The wildlife watching is not completely over... Keep your eyes out for more wildlife on the way back, you might spot a giraffe waving you goodbye! After 8-9 hours driving, you'll arrive in Tanga where you will be taken to either airport or hotel depending on you plan which ends our safari packages. Please note that for those planning on taking a flight back home, make sure to inform us of your time of departure so we can plan your return on time!
