Arusha to Tarangire

Your journey begins with a morning pick-up from your hotel in Arusha. After a delicious breakfast, you'll depart for Tarangire National Park, known for its stunning baobab trees and large elephant herds. The scenic drive will take you through the beautiful landscapes of Tanzania, providing glimpses of local life along the way. Upon arrival at Tarangire, embark on an exciting game drive to explore the park's diverse habitats and wildlife. Keep your camera ready as you search for lions, leopards, giraffes, and more amidst the savannah and acacia woodlands. Enjoy a picnic lunch surrounded by the park's natural beauty before continuing your safari adventure.
In the afternoon, you'll have more opportunities to spot wildlife as you traverse Tarangire's expansive plains. As the day draws to a close, head to your accommodation for dinner and a well-deserved rest as you reflect on the day's adventures.

Tarangire – Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, you will be picked up from your lodge. On the way to Serengeti, you will pass by the Ngorongoro Crater and enjoy the crater view before heading to your destination. The name Serengeti originates from the Maasai word Siringitu which means endless plains. You will see why the Maasai gave this region this name as the grassland savannah stretches to the horizon in the South and is only interrupted by the so-called kopjes. These kopjes are bizarre rock formations formed by the weathering of granite outcrops. The plains are the perfect hunting grounds for leopards and other big cats. You will have an excellent chance to view these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat through the open roof of the vehicle. In the afternoon, you will have a standard home meal and then, later on, arrive at your destination for the day.

After breakfast, set out for a full day of wildlife exploration in the magnificent Serengeti National Park. Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives across the endless plains, home to large herds of wildebeest and zebras, elephants, giraffes, and other fascinating wildlife. The Seronera Valley offers excellent opportunities to spot lions, leopards, and cheetahs in their natural habitat.

Around midday, pause for a picnic lunch in the heart of the wilderness before continuing your adventure through different areas of the park with your expert safari guide. Discover the Serengeti’s remarkable landscapes, observe wildlife in its natural environment, and enjoy the golden afternoon light across the savannah.

As the day draws to a close, return to your lodge in the Serengeti for dinner and a relaxing overnight stay surrounded by the magic of the African wilderness.

Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha

After an early breakfast, depart from the Serengeti and drive towards the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater, enjoying scenic views along the way. Upon arrival, descend approximately 600 meters into the crater for an unforgettable game drive through this remarkable wildlife haven. Look out for the Big Five—lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard—along with hippos, hyenas, zebras, and flamingos. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the crater before ascending in the afternoon and beginning your journey back to Arusha. You will be dropped off at your hotel in Arusha or at Arusha Airport (ARK), depending on your onward travel arrangements, marking the end of your memorable Tanzania safari.
