The name Serengeti means "endless plains," a fitting description for this iconic park that is home to over two million wildebeest, along with countless zebras, gazelles, and other wildlife. From January to April, the plains come alive with new life as wildebeest, zebras, and Thomson’s gazelles give birth, attracting predators such as lions, cheetahs, and hyenas.

The ecosystem also supports a wide variety of smaller mammals—including rock hyraxes, bat-eared foxes, mongooses, honey badgers, jackals, monkeys, baboons, and African hares—as well as more than 500 bird species.

Following an exciting game drive, you’ll return to camp for dinner and your overnight stay.
