Nairobi to Masai Mara – Into the Wild

Your adventure begins with an early morning departure from Nairobi, heading toward the world-famous Masai Mara National Reserve. Journey through the scenic Great Rift Valley with a brief stop to take in panoramic views and stretch your legs.

Arrive at your lodge in time for lunch and check-in. After some rest, head out for your first game drive in the late afternoon. As the sun begins to set, the savannah comes alive—herds of antelope, giraffes, elephants, and, with luck, the first glimpse of a big cat.

Return to camp for dinner and an evening by the campfire, surrounded by the distant sounds of the wild.
Overnight at your accommodation in the Mara.

Wake up to the fresh air of the African savannah and prepare for a full day of exploration in the Masai Mara National Reserve, home to the Big Five and the spectacular Great Migration (seasonal).

You have two options to experience the day:

Option 1: Full-Day Game Drive
Head out after an early breakfast for a full-day game drive with packed lunch. Spend the day traversing the vast plains in search of lions, elephants, cheetahs, giraffes, and more. Enjoy your picnic lunch in the wild, surrounded by the sights and sounds of the Mara.

Option 2: Split Game Drives
Alternatively, begin your day with an early morning game drive, when wildlife is most active, and return to camp for a late breakfast and rest. Enjoy the camp’s surroundings before heading out again in the late afternoon for another exciting game drive.

Return to Rhino Tourist Camp for dinner and overnight, reflecting on the day’s unforgettable encounters.

After an early breakfast at Rhino Tourist Camp, enjoy a final morning game drive as you bid farewell to the wild beauty of the Masai Mara. Capture any last glimpses of wildlife before beginning your journey back to Nairobi.

Travel through the scenic Rift Valley with a brief stop for refreshments and photo opportunities along the way.

Arrive in Nairobi in the late afternoon. You’ll be dropped off at your preferred location—either Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) for your departure flight or at your selected hotel or residence within the city.
