Morning: You'll fly from Addis Ababa to Semera (about 1 hour), the gateway to the Danakil Depression.
Afternoon: You'll drive towards the Danakil Depression (about 4-5 hours). The landscape here is surreal and desolate, but incredibly beautiful.
You'll visit the Afar Salt Mines, watch the Afar people mining and transporting salt in ancient ways.
You'll see the Dallol Crater with its colorful, sulfurous springs and salt flats.

Afternoon: You'll visit the Salt Flats, the Afar people’s traditional home, and observe their lifestyle.
You'll see the hot springs and colorful thermal features around the area.
