Arusha – Serengeti National Park

On your first day, you will be picked up from Arusha early in the morning and begin the scenic drive to Serengeti National Park. The drive takes you through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, offering glimpses of the stunning Ngorongoro Crater rim and traditional Maasai villages along the way. Once you enter Serengeti, the landscape opens up to the park’s vast plains. After a picnic lunch in the park, you’ll head out for an afternoon game drive in the Central Serengeti, where you will track predators such as lions and cheetahs, and see large herds of wildebeest, giraffes, and zebras. The iconic kopjes (rocky outcrops) make for incredible photo opportunities, often serving as resting spots for lions. After your game drive, you’ll head to your lodge or tented camp for a relaxing evening surrounded by nature, enjoying dinner and listening to the sounds of the wild.

Game Drive in Serengeti National Park

On the second day, you’ll start with an early breakfast before heading out for a full-day game drive across the Serengeti. The early morning hours are prime time for spotting predators as they are most active during the cooler parts of the day. Your guide will take you to different areas of the park, depending on the wildlife movements, ensuring you get the best experience. If you're lucky enough to visit during the Great Migration, you may witness thousands of wildebeest and zebras moving across the plains, a spectacle that draws predators like lions and hyenas. In the afternoon, enjoy a picnic lunch in the bush, then continue your exploration of Serengeti’s diverse habitats. From the Seronera River to the southern plains (depending on the season), you'll encounter a wide variety of wildlife, from elephants and giraffes to the ever-watchful predators. In the evening, return to your lodge or camp for dinner and unwind after a day filled with remarkable game viewing.
