Nairobi to Amboseli National Park

Your driver-guide will pick you up from your Nairobi hotel, residence, or Nairobi airport. After a brief introduction and briefing on the entire tour itinerary, you'll board the 4x4 for your journey to Amboseli National Park, which is approximately 3-4 hours long.

You'll arrive in time for check-in lunch at your lodge. You can take a short rest before heading out for your first game drive in the evening. In the evening, you'll venture out on your first game drive, looking for elephants, lions, zebras, giraffes, cheetahs, and ostriches. Amboseli is renowned for its easy and abundant wildlife viewing. The park is also a photographer's dream, framed by the snowy flanks and summit of Kilimanjaro. The daytime clouds obscuring this tallest peak drift off toward the evening and sometimes early morning, giving lucky viewers a stunning view of the mountain's iconic summit.

Later, return to your camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Amboseli National Park

After a delightful breakfast, you will be picked up from your lodge and embark on a full-day exhilarating adventure to the breathtaking plains of Amboseli.

In Amboseli, you'll have the opportunity to spot lions and cheetahs as they gracefully navigate their natural habitat. You'll witness the awe-inspiring sight of large herds of elephants making their way across the plains, often coming surprisingly close to your vehicle. As you explore, you'll have the opportunity to observe over 80 different mammal species and more than 400 species of birds, each adding to the vibrant tapestry of life in Amboseli.

Our game drive will lead you to the picturesque Observation Hill, offering panoramic views of the park and its diverse landscapes as you enjoy a delicious picnic lunch.

As the sun sets, you will return to your cozy camp, where you can unwind, enjoy a hearty dinner, and reflect on the unforgettable experiences of the day before settling in for a restful night.

Amboseli National Park to Lake Naivasha

Enjoy your breakfast, check out, and leave Amboseli for Lake Naivasha. There will be a stop to view the beautiful scenes of the Great Rift Valley, the world's largest tectonic rift valley.

You will arrive on time for lunch and check-in. Later in the afternoon, you will go on a boat ride on the sparkling waters of Lake Naivasha. This boat ride promises to reveal a diverse array of the region's birdlife. You will travel with a resident expert who will help you identify some of the region's 400 bird species. Keep your binoculars ready to zoom in on the pink-backed pelicans, the goliath heron, and the saddle-billed stork. After the boat ride, you will proceed to Crescent Island Game Sanctuary, a scenic and breathtaking wildlife sanctuary along the lake. The sanctuary is the only place where you can walk freely among the animals.

Later, return to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

You will have an early morning breakfast, followed by a morning game drive at the park before exit. Later, you'll leave Lake Naivasha for Masai Mara, a 5-hour drive.

Upon arrival at the Maasai Mara, you'll check in and enjoy a delicious lunch featuring both local and international cuisine. Then, embark on an afternoon game drive in the renowned reserve, famous for the Great Wildebeest Migration. With your expert guide, you'll have the opportunity to spot a diverse range of wildlife, including lions, leopards, giraffes, buffalo, cheetahs, and elephants.

After an exhilarating day, return to Zebra Plains Mara Camp for a hearty dinner and a comfortable overnight stay, surrounded by the sounds of the African wilderness.
