Nairobi to Tsavo East

Start your day with a hotel pickup in Nairobi early morning, transferring you to Wilson Airport for a scheduled light aircraft flight to Tsavo East’s airstrip. The flight takes about 45 minutes, offering stunning aerial views of Kenya’s landscapes. On arrival, a game drive vehicle will meet you and transfer you to your lodge. After lunch and a bit of rest, embark on your first afternoon game drive in Tsavo East, famous for its large herds of red elephants, lions, giraffes, and diverse birdlife. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Tsavo East

Wake up early for a pre-breakfast game drive when wildlife is most active. After breakfast at the lodge, spend the morning enjoying the park’s sights, from the stunning Mudanda Rock and Aruba Dam to the unique landscapes dotted with baobab trees. Return to the lodge for lunch and a relaxing midday break. In the afternoon, head out for another game drive, with opportunities to spot the park’s famous red elephants, buffalos, and perhaps elusive predators like cheetahs or lions. Enjoy dinner back at the lodge and overnight stay.

Tsavo East to Nairobi

On your last day, enjoy an early morning game drive to soak up the morning wildlife activity and the beautiful sunrise over the Tsavo plains. After a hearty breakfast, check out and transfer back to the airstrip for your flight back to Nairobi, Wilson Airport. From the airport, a driver will transfer you back to your Nairobi hotel or preferred drop-off location, arriving by early afternoon or late morning depending on your flight time.
