Arrival & Tarangire National Park – Full-Day Game Drive

Your safari adventure begins with your arrival at Kilimanjaro or Arusha Airport between 07:00 – 09:30 AM.
You’ll be greeted by your private guide and begin a scenic drive to Tarangire National Park (approx. 1.5 hours), passing through local villages and open plains.

Arrive at the park around 11:00 AM and start your thrilling game drive in one of Tanzania’s most beautiful parks, famous for its giant baobab trees, large elephant herds, and abundant wildlife.
At 12:30 PM, enjoy a packed picnic lunch at a peaceful spot inside the park, with views of nature all around.

Continue your game drive until late afternoon, with chances to see lions, giraffes, zebras, and over 500 bird species.
Around 04:30 PM, exit the park and drive to your lodge, arriving by 06:00 PM. Settle in, relax, and enjoy a delicious dinner at 07:00 PM.

Karatu to Lake Manyara National Park & Maasai Cultural Tour

After breakfast at your lodge in Karatu, you’ll depart at 08:00 AM for the short, scenic drive to Lake Manyara National Park (approx. 45 minutes). Begin your game drive around 09:00 AM, exploring the park’s lush forests, open plains, and lake shores. Manyara is home to elephants, giraffes, hippos, and the famous tree-climbing lions.

Watch for flocks of flamingos and enjoy views of the Great Rift Valley escarpment. Around 12:30 PM, stop for a scenic picnic lunch inside the park.

After lunch, continue your exploration, then exit the park by 03:00 PM. From there, head to a nearby Maasai village for a cultural tour. You'll learn about their traditional way of life, dances, crafts, and daily routines.

This immersive experience offers a deeper connection to Tanzania’s cultural heritage. Return to your lodge in Karatu by 05:30 PM, where you’ll relax before enjoying dinner at 07:00 PM and an overnight stay.
