Tarangire National Park is famous for its large herds of elephants, towering baobab trees, and the elusive tree-climbing African pythons. Covering an area of 1,360 sq km (525 sq miles), the park features diverse savannah landscapes—dotted with baobabs and open acacia woodlands, as well as bush plains, swamps, and the life-giving Tarangire River. During your game drive, you’ll have the chance to spot a variety of wildlife including elephants, zebras, giraffes, gazelles, ostriches, and numerous bird species.

Program of the Day: After breakfast, your driver guide from Maven Tanzania Safaris will pick you up and drive you to Central Serengeti for a day of incredible wildlife sightings. You’ll enjoy a picnic lunch at a scenic spot within the park before continuing your afternoon game drive en route to your camp. The following day will be dedicated to a full-day game drive, giving you ample time to explore the heart of the Serengeti.
Serengeti National Park is world-renowned for the Great Migration, where millions of wildebeest, zebras, and antelopes move together in search of fresh grass and water, following the rhythm of the rains. The park is also home to a variety of resident predators, including lions, cheetahs, and leopards. Here, the circle of life plays out before your eyes, offering thrilling and unforgettable wildlife encounters at every turn.

Program of the Day: Start your day early with a hearty breakfast before setting off on a remarkable journey to the Northern Serengeti. With picnic lunch boxes packed, you’ll head toward the iconic Mara River one of the best spots to witness the dramatic Great Migration. Guided by our expert from Maven Tanzania Safaris, you’ll be taken to prime viewing areas where you can observe the intense river crossings, as wildebeest face off against powerful crocodiles and predators like lions, leopards, and cheetahs lie in wait. It’s a front-row seat to one of nature’s most breathtaking spectacles.
The Great Migration is the world’s largest land animal movement, involving over a million wildebeests, along with zebras and other grazers, as they cross the Mara River into Kenya’s Maasai Mara. The river, teeming with crocodiles, becomes the stage for this life-and-death struggle. The best time to witness this incredible event is from July to early October each year.

Program of the Day: After breakfast, set out on a captivating morning game drive with a special focus on the Great Wildebeest Migration, as well as the diverse wildlife and natural beauty of the Northern Serengeti. Enjoy unforgettable sightings of animals in their natural habitat. Later in the day, begin your scenic drive to Karatu, located near the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where you’ll spend the night.
Staying in Karatu provides an excellent opportunity to descend into the Ngorongoro Crater early the next morning, when wildlife is most active offering a prime safari experience.

Program of the Day: After breakfast, we’ll head to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, just a short 20-minute drive from your accommodation. With picnic lunch boxes packed, you'll descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a final game drive. After the safari, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight home or to your next destination.
The Ngorongoro Conservation Area is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Africa’s Natural Wonders. It is home to the world’s largest unbroken volcanic caldera and supports a year-round population of approximately 30,000 large animals, including buffaloes, elephants, lions, cheetahs, and the rare black rhino. Inside the crater, you’ll witness stunning landscapes, relax in a serene environment, and have an excellent opportunity to spot the Big Five as well as bird species like flamingos around the crater lakes. Get ready for an extraordinary wildlife experience where countless animals can be seen within moments.
