Lake Natron to Northern Serengeti National Park
After an early breakfast, you will head towards the Serengeti. On the adventurous slopes, the Rift Valley rises into the wide plains of the Serengeti. The park was already founded in 1951 and is thus the oldest one in Tanzania. It is the heart of a vast ecosystem whose species-rich animal world is unique. Together with the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and the Masai Mara National Reserve in Kenya, the Serengeti National Park is one of the largest natural migration systems for wild animals. Annually, the 3 mentioned conservation areas migrate over 1.4 million gnus, almost 300,000 Thomson's gazelles, about 200,000 zebras, and several thousand topis in response to the rainy seasons to areas with greenery and lush meadows.

After breakfast, you will head to the Ngorongoro Crater. You will drive to the Ngorongoro Highlands and descend 600 meters onto the crater floor for a fantastic wildlife drive. The picnic lunch will be served at one of the crater's picnic areas.
Many consider the Ngorongoro Crater one of the world's natural marvels that you cannot afford to miss when planning your Tanzania safari. Its beauty is stunning, regardless of the rainy or dry seasons. The crater has a large variety of animal species, yet just a few creatures go in and out of it. You may expect to see herds of wildebeests, zebras, hippos, elands, elephants, topis, and other animals. In addition, the endangered black rhinos may be found here in their native environment. The crater is also home to a variety of predators, including cheetahs, hyenas, jackals, lions, and the elusive leopards, which can be difficult to observe at times.
