1-Day Lake Manyara National Park (from Arusha)

Start your day with an early morning pick-up from your Arusha hotel around 6:00 AM. Enjoy a light breakfast on the way as you drive through scenic landscapes toward Lake Manyara National Park (approx. 2.5 hours). Known for its lush groundwater forest and diverse habitats, the park is famous for its tree-climbing lions, large troops of baboons, elephants, hippos, flamingos, and over 400 bird species. Begin your game drive at 9:00 AM, exploring the forest, open plains, and lake shores. Around midday, enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park at a shaded viewpoint. After a fulfilling afternoon of wildlife viewing, begin your journey back to Arusha around 3:30 PM. You’ll arrive at your hotel between 6:00–6:30 PM.
