1-Day Ngorongoro Crater (from Arusha)

Your adventure begins with an early pick-up from your hotel in Arusha around 5:30 AM. You'll embark on a scenic drive (approx. 4–5 hours) to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known as the “Eighth Wonder of the World.” Upon arrival, descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive in one of the world’s most wildlife-rich areas. Spot the Big Five-including rhinos, lions, and elephants, along with hippos, zebras, flamingos, and hyenas. Around midday, enjoy a picnic lunch at a designated spot near the hippo pool. After more wildlife viewing in the afternoon, begin your drive back to Arusha around 3:00 PM, arriving at your hotel between 7:00–8:00 PM.
