Your adventure begins with an early morning pickup from your hotel in Arusha. You’ll drive about two hours southwest to Tarangire National Park, famous for its huge elephant herds and towering baobab trees that create a dramatic landscape. Your experienced guide will take you on an exciting afternoon game drive, where you’ll look for lions, giraffes, zebras, impalas, and countless bird species along the Tarangire River. After a picnic lunch in the park, you’ll head to your private campsite, nestled in a safe, scenic area. The camp crew will set up your spacious tents, complete with comfortable beds and linens. As the sun sets, enjoy dinner around the campfire under the vast African sky, listening to the sounds of the wilderness as night falls.

Day 2
Karatu to Serengeti NP

After an early breakfast, depart Karatu and travel toward the world-renowned Serengeti National Park. The drive takes you through the lush Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where you may stop at the historic Olduvai Gorge—known as the “Cradle of Mankind”—to learn about human evolution, or visit a traditional Maasai village to experience local culture. Upon entering the Serengeti, you’ll embark on your first game drive across the endless plains, where predators roam freely and vast herds of wildebeest and zebra graze. Your private campsite awaits deep in the Serengeti, offering an immersive wilderness experience. Your guides and camp staff will set up your comfortable tents, and dinner will be served by the campfire beneath a blanket of stars.

Day 3
Serengeti to Ngorongoro
Serengeti to Ngorongoro
After breakfast and a final early morning game drive in the Serengeti, begin your journey toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. As you leave the vast plains behind, the landscape gradually transforms into lush highlands dotted with acacia trees and Maasai settlements. On the way, you can make an optional stop at Olduvai Gorge, a world-renowned archaeological site, or visit a local Maasai boma for a cultural encounter. Continue driving through the highlands and descend from the conservation area to Karatu, a peaceful town on the outer slopes of Ngorongoro. You'll arrive at Ng'edere Campsite, where your crew will set up camp and prepare a delicious dinner. This rustic, quiet campsite offers a comfortable place to unwind, with hot meals and basic facilities, surrounded by beautiful highland scenery.

Day 4
Ngorongoro crater to Arusha
Ngorongoro crater to Arusha
Wake up early and drive to the Ngorongoro Crater gate (about 30–40 minutes from Karatu). After registration, descend into the world’s largest unbroken volcanic caldera for an unforgettable half-day game drive. The Ngorongoro Crater is one of the best places in Africa to see the Big Five in one area, including black rhinos, lions, elephants, and buffalo, along with hippos, flamingos, zebras, jackals, and more. Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the crater, often near a hippo pool or shaded picnic spot. After lunch, ascend the crater walls and begin your drive back to Arusha, arriving in the late afternoon to conclude your safari.
