Arrival & Trail Briefing

Arrive at the Maseke Game Reserve in the Greater Kruger region by early afternoon.

After a warm welcome from your trails guides, you'll receive a safety briefing and orientation about the wilderness trail experience.

Once you've settled into your mobile tented camp, enjoy your first afternoon game drive or short acclimatisation walk, followed by sundowners and dinner under the stars.

The evening is spent around the fire, soaking up the sounds of the wild.

Walking Safari & Bush Skills

Wake up early for coffee and a light breakfast before heading out on your first full walking safari.

Your experienced guides will focus on tracking animals, interpreting signs in the bush, and teaching bushcraft.
Return to camp mid-morning for a hearty brunch and rest during the hottest part of the day.

In the afternoon, enjoy either another short walk or game drive before dinner and storytelling by the fire.

Deeper into the Wilderness

Your second full day on foot takes you deeper into the reserve.

Traverse varied terrain and encounter wildlife up close while learning about the ecology and conservation of the Greater Kruger area. The mobile nature of the trail allows for new walking routes and scenery each day.

Return to camp to relax, share trail highlights, and enjoy another evening under canvas.

Sunrise Walk & Departure

Enjoy a final sunrise walk to reflect on the trail and say farewell to the wilderness.

After breakfast, you'll pack up and prepare for departure with your guides seeing you off.
