After having early breakfast¸ you will be briefed by the guide about the 3days safari. You will then embark on the journey to Bwindi Forest. Driving through Masaka-Mbarara highway¸ enjoy the stunning landscape sceneries along the way with a stopover at the Uganda Equator for photographs¸ have lunch at Igongo Cultural Centre.
Gorilla trekking in Bwindi offers a rare opportunity to observe mountain gorillas in their natural habitat watching them feed, play, and interact just a few meters away under the guidance of trained rangers. Strict conservation rules ensure both visitor safety and the long-term protection of the gorillas, making each trek a responsible and life-changing wildlife experience.

Day 2

Gorilla Trekking Experience
Having an early morning breakfast and head to the park headquarters for briefing about the do’s and don’ts of gorilla trekking by the ranger guides before embarking on your gorilla trek. Head in the forest and the trek until you find the gorillas. Gorilla trekking can take 2 to 8 hours depending to the movement of the gorillas. After finding the Gorillas in Bwindi¸ you will be given only 1 hour to observe and take photographs with them¸ creating unforgettable memories. Following the trek¸ return to the park headquarters to collect your well-earned gorilla trekking certificate. You will go back to the lodge for a late lunch. You will transfer to the lake Bunyonyi and enjoy viewing the beautiful scenery along the lake in the evening. Lake Bunyonyi is also called place of Many Little Birds¸ Located in south-western Uganda between Kisoro and Kabale¸ close to the border with Rwanda. You will take photos and proceed to the lodge for check-in¸ relaxation and overnight.

Day 3
Boat cruise and & Transfer to kampala

After breakfast¸ take a boat cruise along the lake Bunyonyi. The journey takes you through the kigezi area which is well known as the “Switzerland of Africa” ¸ to lake Bunyonyi. This lake was as a result of lava flow from the Virunga Mountains blocked the Ndego River at present-day Muko to create a natural dam. It’s dotted with 29 beautiful Islands with Bwana island being the largest which was Once known for a traditional cultural practice involving young girls, this small island is now peaceful and scenic, offering stunning lake views, serene walks, and photo opportunities. Visiting the island offers a chance to reflect on how cultures change over time and to appreciate the rich history and natural beauty that make Lake Bunyonyi a unique destination in Uganda.
After the thrilling experience¸ You will have lunch then continue with your journey to Kampala taking approximately 8 hours.
