We will pick you up from your hotel, where you'll meet your guide and fellow travelers. From there, you'll embark on a 2-hour drive to Tarangire National Park, renowned for its stunningly diverse landscapes, ancient baobab trees, and the largest population of elephants in Tanzania. The park offers incredible opportunities to witness the interactions of elephant families in their natural habitat.

You'll enjoy a game drive through the park, guided by reports of wildlife, particularly of predators like lions, cheetahs, and leopards, which can be challenging to spot. Herbivores such as giraffes, wildebeests, and zebras are abundant and visible throughout the park.

Karatu to Serengeti NP

After breakfast, you will set off for Serengeti National Park, traveling through the scenic highlands of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. As you leave the highlands behind, you'll descend into the vast, untamed wilderness of the Serengeti, where endless plains stretch as far as the horizon.

Your journey takes you to the central Serengeti, known as the Seronera area, a prime wildlife habitat teeming with life. The Seronera River serves as a vital water source, attracting a wide variety of animals that represent the diversity of the Serengeti's ecosystem. You'll arrive in time for lunch, followed by an exciting afternoon game drive in this iconic national park.

Day 3

Serengeti to Ngorongoro

Serengeti to Ngorongoro

After an early breakfast, you will enjoy a morning game drive in Serengeti National Park to spot a variety of wildlife. In the afternoon, return to camp for lunch and pack up. Following the game drive, you'll drive to Simba Campsite, located near the rim of Ngorongoro Crater, which takes approximately 2 hours.

Please note that wildlife can often be seen in and around the campsites.

After an early breakfast, you'll head directly to the crater floor for a guided crater tour with a packed picnic lunch provided. Ngorongoro Crater is one of the most renowned wildlife destinations in the world, offering excellent opportunities to spot the endangered black rhinoceros. You'll enjoy a meal near the hippo pool, which provides a scenic view of the lake and the many hippos relaxing in the cool waters.

Following the tour, you will proceed to Arusha with a 3-hour drive, arriving at the Lodge at Summit safri lodge Hotel for drop-off.

Day 5

Mount Kilimanjaro

Mount Kilimanjaro

Climbing the iconic Mount Kilimanjaro to the summit in a single day isn’t possible, but this Kilimanjaro day trip offers the unique opportunity to experience the first leg of the famous Marangu Route. Your adventure begins with a hotel pick-up in Arusha between 6:30 and 7:00 AM, followed by a scenic drive to Marangu Gate, where you'll register with park authorities. From here, you'll hike through the lush rainforest, home to a variety of bird species and playful colobus monkeys. You'll enjoy a picnic lunch en route as you ascend to Mandara Hut, where you’ll rest for 30 to 45 minutes before beginning a relaxed descent back to the gate. After your hike, your driver will be waiting to take you back to the airport or your hotel, with calming music to help you unwind after an exciting day on Africa’s tallest mountain.
