Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you’ll be transferred to your hotel. In the afternoon, enjoy a boat excursion to Ngamba Island Chimpanzee Sanctuary, home to orphaned chimpanzees. Return for overnight at Lake Victoria Hotel. (Bed & Breakfast).

Day 2

Entebbe - Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

Entebbe - Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

After an early breakfast, begin your journey to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, one of Uganda’s most famous national parks. Along the way, stop at the equator for photos and to witness the famous water experiment that shows the difference between the hemispheres. Continue your drive with a lunch stop in Mbarara town, where you can enjoy local cuisine. After lunch, proceed through the scenic countryside to Gorilla Forest Lodge, located near the park entrance. Settle in for dinner and an overnight stay. (Full Board).

After the trek, drive to the beautiful and peaceful Lake Bunyonyi, one of Uganda’s most scenic lakes, known for its 29 small islands and cool, fresh air. It’s a perfect place to relax and take in the natural beauty after your adventure. Dinner and overnight at a lakeside lodge in Kabale. (Full Board).

After breakfast, drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park, a stunning and diverse wildlife reserve known for its wide range of animals and landscapes. Along the way, enjoy views of the rolling hills and small villages. Arrive at Mweya Safari Lodge in time for lunch. In the afternoon, take a relaxing boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, a natural waterway that connects Lake Edward and Lake George. The channel is famous for its high concentration of hippos, crocodiles, buffaloes, elephants, and a variety of water birds seen up close from the boat. Dinner and overnight at Mweya Lodge. Chimpanzee Trekking and Game Drive

Chimpanzee Trekking and Game Drive

After an early breakfast, drive to the stunning Kyambura Gorge, often called the "Valley of Apes," for an exciting chimpanzee trekking experience. Walk through the lush forest as expert guides help you track and observe these intelligent primates in their natural habitat. The gorge is also home to various birds and monkeys, making the trek even more rewarding. Return to Mweya Safari Lodge for a well-deserved lunch. In the late afternoon, head out for a classic game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park, where you may spot lions, elephants, antelopes, and other wildlife against the backdrop of the beautiful savannah. Dinner and overnight at Mweya Lodge. (Full Board).

Along the way, enjoy breathtaking views of the Rwenzori Mountains, also known as the "Mountains of the Moon," with their mist-covered peaks and lush landscapes. This route offers a beautiful glimpse into western Uganda’s countryside, filled with tea plantations, crater lakes, and traditional villages. Stop for lunch in Fort Portal, a charming town known for its cool climate and scenic surroundings. Continue to Entebbe for dinner and overnight at Lake Victoria Hotel. (Full Board).
