Today, you will be picked up from either the airport or your hotel by our professional tourist guides, visit the Kigali genocide site, community visit to Nyamirabo women's center, participate in various activities like waving and cooking local dishes, and enjoy a local lunch.

After driving through the land of a thousand hills, enjoying the rugged, well-maintained roads, viewing the terraced hills and valleys, and tropical rainforests, to Volcanoes National Park.

Day 2

Today, you'll wake up very early for morning breakfast and pack a snack/lunch. Your guide will drive you to the park's headquarters for a briefing, hiring porters, and group allocations. You will later head for the golden monkey trekking along with other visitors. When you meet monkeys, spend 1 hour observing their grooming behaviors in the natural habitat. Trekking takes about 2 to 4 hours in the jungle of Volcanoes National Park.

After this thriving activity, you'll visit the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund and witness her conservation efforts and gorilla awareness. Later, you'll relax at the lodge, journey to Gorilla Guardian Village, listen to their stories, participate in their cultural ceremonies, enjoy folk songs, and dance their traditional music. As it gets late, you'll drive back to your lodge for an overnight stay.

Early morning after breakfast, you will embark on your journey to Uganda through the Cyanika border in almost an hour. You'll cross and drive through Uganda, the pearl of Africa, for another breathtaking experience with scenic beauty, tropical rainforests, and viewing the Virunga massive which will define your safari in Africa.

Check in at your lodge in Rushaga sector for relaxation as you prepare for an exciting gorilla trekking experience the following day.

Day 5

Transfer to queen elizabeth national park - via ishasha sector

Today, you'll have an early morning breakfast, check out and drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park via Ishasha sector, drive searching for leopards, elephants, impalas, and buffalo are seen roaming the wild. Tree-climbing lions are always spotted lying on fig trees, either feeding or gazing at their prey in the open savannah of the park.

After this thrilling encounter, enjoy a bush lunch and proceed to the northern part of the park for an evening game drive. Queen Elizabeth National Park is great when on a game drive.

On this day, you'll drive to the Kyamburu information center early in the morning, after breakfast. You will be given a ranger guide to take you through the walk into Kyambura Gorge, found in Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will have a chance to walk inside the beautiful eco-friendly gorge, witness its permanent river, and animals looking for water, especially in the dry season.

After this thrilling nature adventure, your guide will drive you to Kyambura Twin Lakes to view the beautiful combination of the two crater lakes.
After lunch, relaxation as you prepare for an extra exciting boat drive on the Kazinga channel, glance at wildlife like herds of elephants, buffaloes, and impalas roaming in the wild, sounds of birds, and views of the Rwenzori mountains while on this exploration of the park, not forgetting watching the sun vanish in the skies.
