Day 1

Your trip begins at 7:00 am with a pick-up from your hotel in Kigali. After a short briefing from your knowledgeable driver-guide, you’ll set off on the journey to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. The drive takes about 4–5 hours in comfortable transport, with plenty of opportunities to enjoy the rolling hills and scenic landscapes along the way.
You’ll make a stop at the Katuna border for immigration and clearance as you exit Rwanda and enter Uganda. Another stop will be in Kabale for lunch before continuing directly to the park.
In the evening, you'll visit the Batwa for a cultural encounter with the forest’s original inhabitants. You'll learn about their traditional hunting and gathering lifestyle, listen to their music and stories, and witness dances that reflect their deep connection to the forest. This enriching experience offers a glimpse into a unique heritage and supports local community conservation efforts.

Day 2
Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi & transfer to Queen Elizabeth NP

After an early breakfast with a packed lunch, you'll head to the park headquarters for a gorilla trekking briefing. You'll be assigned to a group (maximum 8 people per gorilla family). Trekking can take a few minutes or several hours, depending on the gorillas’ location. Once found, you will spend one unforgettable hour observing them from a safe 7-meter distance as they feed, play, and interact in their natural habitat.
After the trek, return to the lodge for lunch and a short rest before transferring to Queen Elizabeth National Park for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3

Queen Elizabeth National Park
Start the day with an early morning game drive through Queen Elizabeth National Park, where you may spot elephants, buffaloes, lions, antelopes, and a variety of bird species. Return to the lodge for breakfast or enjoy a packed breakfast in the park.
At 11:00 AM, head for the famous boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, offering excellent views of hippos, crocodiles, elephants, buffaloes, and abundant birdlife along the shoreline.
After lunch, visit the Katwe Salt Lake for a cultural and community experience, where you will learn about the traditional salt mining process. Continue to Lake Munyanyange in the evening for birdwatching and scenic views before returning to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

You'll start your day with an exciting chimpanzee trek in the beautiful Kyambura Gorge. You'll walk through lush jungle trails as you search for wild chimpanzees and observe their playful behavior up close, a truly memorable wildlife encounter.
You'll begin your scenic road transfer via the Katuna border with a drop off at your hotel in Kigali in the evening.
