Day 1

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Your safari adventure begins with a morning pickup from your accommodation in Arusha by our professional driver guide. After a short briefing, drive to Tarangire National Park, famous for its large herds of elephants, majestic baobab trees and diverse wildlife.
Enjoy a thrilling game drive through the park, observing lions, giraffes, zebras and more in their natural habitat. Midday, pause for a scenic picnic lunch inside the park surrounded by nature.
After lunch, continue with an afternoon game drive, soaking in the beauty and wildlife Tarangire offers. Later in the evening, drive to Mto wa Mbu village at the base of the Great Rift Valley. Arrive at Migombani Campsite, where you’ll relax, enjoy dinner and spend the night under the African stars.

Day 2

Ngorongoro Crater

After an early breakfast at Migombani Campsite, depart for a full-day adventure to the world-renowned Ngorongoro Crater. Stop at Loduare Gate for park registration and proceed to the Crater Viewpoint, where you’ll enjoy stunning panoramic views of this vast volcanic caldera. Continue to Seneto Gate, the descent point into the crater floor.

The Ngorongoro Conservation Area is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, home to a unique blend of landscapes, wildlife and Maasai culture. The Ngorongoro Crater, formed over two million years ago, is the largest unbroken caldera on earth and hosts over 25,000 animals including lions, rhinos, elephants, and hippos.

Enjoy a memorable picnic lunch near the hippo pool, surrounded by breathtaking scenery. After the game drive, ascend the crater and return to Migombani Campsite for dinner and an overnight stay.

Lake Manyara National Park and back to Arusha

After breakfast at Migombani Campsite, drive to Lake Manyara National Park, entering through the main gate for registration. Begin a game drive through the lush groundwater forest, home to baboons, blue monkeys and forest-dwelling elephants.
Lake Manyara National Park is a small but diverse park nestled at the base of the Great Rift Valley. It’s known for its tree-climbing lions, large flocks of flamingos along the lake shore and breathtaking views of the escarpment.

Enjoy a picnic lunch at a designated site within the park, then exit the park and make a brief stop at the Mto wa Mbu aircraft market.
Later, drive back to Arusha, marking the end of your unforgettable safari with African Tanzanite Safari & Travel.
