Tarangire National Park – Elephants & Baobabs

Depart Arusha after breakfast for a full-day game drive in Tarangire National Park, famous for its massive elephant herds and ancient baobab trees. Follow the Tarangire River and explore its dense wildlife population, including lions, giraffes, zebras, and diverse birdlife. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park and continue your game drive in the afternoon. Later, transfer to your lodge in the Karatu area for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, begin your drive to the Southern Serengeti plains (Ndutu region), the heart of the wildebeest calving season from December to March. En route, enjoy game viewing as the landscape transitions from the Ngorongoro Highlands to the open plains of Ndutu. Arrive at your tented camp in time for an evening game drive. Ngorongoro Crater – Big Five Safari in a Natural Wonder

After breakfast, head toward the Ngorongoro Crater and descend 600 meters into this UNESCO-listed caldera for a day of game viewing. The crater floor offers some of the best chances to spot the Big Five—lion, elephant, rhino, buffalo, and leopard. Enjoy lunch at a picnic site beside a hippo-filled lake. Later, ascend the crater rim and drive to your lodge near Karatu.
