Day 1

After breakfast, you’ll head to Materuni village in the Kilimanjaro foothills—an authentic place free from tourist crowds, offering a glimpse into real Tanzanian life. Start with a tour of local coffee farms, where Chagga tribesmen will show you how to grow, roast, and grind your own coffee. Then enjoy a guided walk to Materuni Waterfall, passing fruit and vegetable farms while learning about the local culture. Take a dip in the natural pool and enjoy a picnic lunch. Next, drive to Kikuletwa (Chemka) Hot Springs for a relaxing swim. Return to your hotel in Arusha or Moshi by late afternoon.
