Day 1

You’ll be picked up from your hotel in Arusha after breakfast (let me know the name of your hotel once you have this info) After a short briefing you will begin a scenic drive to Tarangire National Park, with packed lunches.

Tarangire Park is famous for its impressive elephant herds and varied landscapes from open savannahs to seasonal swamps; Tarangire is also home to the Tarangire River, a vital water source that attracts abundant wildlife. You may spot predators like lions on the hunt or leopards resting in the treetops. After a thrilling game drive, you’ll head to your lodge in Karatu (Ngorongoro Highlands) for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2

On this day it is best to leave the Lodge as early as possible so you can see the variety of animals that are only active during the morning hours; Enjoy breakfast and lunch in the 8th natural wonders of the World.
At 6:00 AM you will set off for Ngorongoro Conservation Area, and after about an hour you will already be inside the crater.
Ngorongoro is one of the most famous and interesting of Tanzania's national parks because here you can find the greatest number of different animal species per square kilometer. You will have the chance to see buffalo, elephants, lions, wildebeests, zebras, hippopotamus, and feline species such as caracals and servals.
At lunchtime, you will be provided a meal, and proceed with game drive around 3:30 pm you will exit the crater and drive to your hotel in Ngorongoro Highlands in Karatu for dinner and over night.

Mto wa Mbu is a unique Tanzanian village where over 120 communities live together, offering a rich mix of cultures. Visitors can enjoy local food, explore banana farms, see traditional art and crafts, and join guided tours to experience authentic village life. It’s a perfect stop for cultural immersion near Lake Manyara.

Today you will drive to a small town called Mto wa Mbu. Visit Mto Wa Mbu village for a great cultural experience with an experienced, English speaking guide who grew up in the village. Visit local farms, food markets, rice paddies, Banana Beer Bar and local activities. You will also enjoy the local meals for lunch.

We expect to be back in Arusha at around 5:00 pm and be dropped off at your hotel in Arusha.
