Day 1

Your safari will begin early in the morning, shortly after breakfast, with a drive westward from Kampala to Kibale National Park a journey of approximately 5 to 6 hours. Upon arrival in the afternoon, you will check in, enjoy lunch, and take a short rest. In the evening, you'll proceed to the visitor’s center for a briefing on the birding process before heading out on a guided woodland walk to search for nocturnal bird species such as Owls and Nightjars.

Day 2

Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park

As the sun rises, you'll enjoy an early breakfast featuring traditional Ugandan cuisine. Afterwards, you'll embark on a guided 3 to 3.5-hour forest walk, exploring the rich biodiversity of Kibale’s tropical rainforest. The park is home to several rare and sought-after bird species, including the Black Bee-eater, African Grey Parrot, and Yellow-spotted Barbet.
Following the morning birding experience, you’ll bid farewell to Kibale and continue your journey to Lake Mburo National Park enjoying a scenic drive of approximately 3 to 4 hours. Upon arrival, you’ll check in and have lunch. Later in the afternoon, you'll set out with a professional guide into the park’s bushlands and woodlands to search for elusive bird species such as the Red-faced Barbet, African Finfoot, and White-winged Warbler, among others.
