Journey to the Serengeti and First Game Drive

Early the next morning, the group departs either on a shared transfer or a scheduled light aircraft flight to the Serengeti. Traveling with others means you’ll share the cost of transportation and accommodation, making it more budget-friendly. Once in the Serengeti, your guide will lead game drives designed to locate the wildebeest migration herds, as well as predators like lions and cheetahs. You’ll have plenty of opportunities to ask questions, take photos, and learn about the ecosystem. Evenings are spent at a comfortable camp or lodge where you can socialize with your group over dinner.

Morning Game Drive and Transfer to Ngorongoro

Wake early for a sunrise game drive when the wildlife is most active. Afterwards, you’ll enjoy breakfast before heading to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area in the company of your group.
Along the way, the vehicle may stop to view other wildlife or interesting landscapes. Arriving at your lodge perched on the crater rim, you’ll enjoy spectacular views and a chance to relax while sharing stories from the day.
Group dinners here allow travelers to connect and share their safari experiences.

Ngorongoro Crater Tour and Return to Arusha

After breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day group game drive. The crater’s dense wildlife populations make it one of the best places to spot endangered species such as the black rhino, and see the Big Five in a relatively small area.
The shared experience often enhances the excitement as guests spot animals together and learn from the guide’s commentary.
After a picnic lunch in the crater, the group will return to Arusha for drop-off at your hotel or airport, completing the safari.
