In the morning hours, our professional driver-guide will pick you up from the hotel or from the airport upon arrival and will brief you about your safari before you embark on a transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park, which is one of Uganda’s most frequented tourist destinations. Queen Elizabeth National Park is Uganda's most popular and biodiverse safari destination, renowned for its stunning landscapes and abundant wildlife. Spanning 1,978 square kilometers, it features diverse ecosystems like savanna, forests, lakes, and wetlands, providing habitats for a wide array of animals and birds. The park is known for its tree-climbing lions, chimpanzees in Kyambura Gorge, and the Kazinga Channel, famous for its hippos and diverse birdlife. You will have lunch en route, then proceed to the park, where on arrival, you check into the accommodation for dinner and evening relaxation. In case you arrive early and are not tired after a long journey, you can proceed on an evening game drive.

Day 2

You will wake up early, have breakfast, and then head out for an early morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park, which offers the chance to witness wildlife active at dawn, particularly predators like lions and leopards hunting or scavenging on the Kasenyi plains. You will return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation and thereafter embark on an afternoon boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, which provides a different perspective, showcasing large herds of hippos, crocodiles basking in the sun, and various bird species congregating along the shores. After the boat trip, you can decide whether to visit the crater lakes at an extra cost or return to the lodge for dinner and evening relaxation after a long day of adventurous, unforgettable moments.

Day 3

You'll enjoy a relaxed, delicious breakfast, check out of the accommodation, and embark on a journey to the Ishasha Sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park, en route to Bwindi, which is famous for its tree-climbing lions, which are often spotted resting on branches of fig and acacia trees. A game drive through Ishasha also offers opportunities to see other wildlife like elephants, buffalo, Uganda kobs, and Topi, a species unique to this area in the park. The drive itself can take 3-4 hours and provides a chance to experience the park's diverse landscapes and animals before proceeding to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. On arrival, you will check into your accommodation for dinner and relaxation as you await the Bwindi gorilla trekking experience. Optionally, you can choose to do chimp tracking in Kyambura Gorge before driving off to Ishasha. You'll visit the Batwa community on arrival in Bwindi. Please note that the chimp tracking permit needs to be secured before the due date.

Day 4

You will have breakfast, check out of the accommodation, and head to the rangers’ post, where you'll receive a briefing on the dos and don’ts during trekking. Thereafter, you will enter the Bwindi Forest for your adventure, and the beauty of this rainforest is spectacular. The area offers a dramatic, steeply forested landscape and is incredibly dense, but crisscrossed by numerous animal trails, allowing access to tourists. Once you have located a gorilla group, you will be allowed to spend an unforgettable 1 hour in their presence. You can take as many photos as you can before you leave. After the trek, the experience continues with a scenic transfer to Lake Bunyonyi, known for its beautiful 29 islands, including the famous punishment island and tranquil atmosphere offering a relaxing contrast to the intensity of gorilla trekking. You'll have lunch en route. On arrival, you'll check into your accommodation for dinner and relaxation. Optionally, you can go canoeing on the lake.

Day 5

You'll wake up and have a relaxed breakfast with a spectacular view of the lake. You'll check out of the hotel and then embark on a return journey from Lake Bunyonyi to Entebbe with lunch en route, which involves a scenic drive through the highlands. You'll stop at the Equator for photos and to buy souvenirs. On early arrival, you can take an adventurous drive through Kampala, Uganda, especially to the African crafts market, which offers a cultural experience and itself is an adventure, navigating the city's streets and lively traffic. You'll find a treasure trove of African crafts, from intricately carved wood sculptures to colourful textiles, unique jewellery, and a chance to immerse yourself in the local artistry and haggle for souvenirs.
