JRO/Arusha to Serengeti National Park

Upon landing at JRO or Arusha Airport transfer to Serengeti take about 5 hours,

Your journey begins with a pick-up from your lodge or the airport, followed by a scenic drive into the Central Serengeti Park. Along the way, you’ll carry packed lunch boxes to enjoy during your adventure in the park.

Once inside Serengeti, you’ll set off on exciting game drives across its vast plains, searching for the park’s incredible wildlife. The Serengeti is world-famous for its massive migrating herds of wildebeest, zebras, and antelopes, a spectacle unlike any other. Beyond the herds, the park is also home to an impressive population of predators, including lions, leopards, and cheetahs, that play a vital role in maintaining the balance of this rich ecosystem.

After your game drive experience, you will be transferred to your camp, where you can unwind, enjoy a delicious dinner, and spend the night surrounded by the beauty of the Serengeti.

Serengeti National Park Game Drive

Serengeti Game Drive before transfer to Karatu late afternoon 2 hours to take.

You'll begin your day with an early wake-up to experience magical morning game drives in Serengeti National Park. This is one of the best times to explore the savannah, as wildlife is most active in the cool hours of the morning. You’ll have the chance to witness the park’s breathtaking landscapes and encounter its remarkable wildlife, from the vast herds of wildebeest, zebras, and antelopes to the big predators: lions, leopards, and cheetahs engaged in the eternal circle of life.

In the afternoon, you will continue your journey toward Karatu, where your accommodation is located near the Ngorongoro Gate. Staying here offers a unique advantage, the next morning, you will descend into the Crater at first light, maximizing your chances of observing a wide variety of animals while they are still most active.

Ngorongoro Crater Game Drive (World Heritage)

You'll get up early in the morning and enjoy a very delicious breakfast in your lodge. After breakfast, our safari guide will pick you up from the lodge and then depart for Ngorongoro for a game drive inside Ngorongoro Crater for wildlife sighting while carrying lunch boxes. Once the game drive is done, you will be transferred back to Arusha or Kilimanjaro Airport, where our service ends.

This park appears to be a lost world when you first arrive in Ngorongoro Crater. The journey into the Crater is an adventure in and of itself. Once you arrive at the bottom, you'll soon be surrounded by over 500 different kinds of birds, zebras, gazelles, and wildebeest. The Crater provides you with the best chance of seeing the endangered black rhino, which can sometimes be spotted in the open grasslands.
