Arrival - Platjan Border Botswana

We meet early in Johannesburg then get into our transfer vehicle headed for the Platjan border post in South Africa to start our Botswana adventure. Once we are done with our meet and greet with our Botswana guides, we transfer all our luggage into our transfer vehicle from the lodge. Once we through the border and into Botswana our adventure starts. We ride over the Limpopo River and straight into the Botswana wilderness. A scenic drive takes us straight into out home for the next 3 nights, Koro Island Camp.

Central Tuli Wilderness

After a warm cup of coffee we head North into the wilderness area to explore this magical place. We’ll pass the salt pans that are loved by elephant as the open areas make way to the rocky outcrops. We’ll stop for a break at one of the amazing water holes before we head back. We drive back to the river and meander along the beautiful paths of the Limpopo back to our exclusive Island Camp.

Central Tuli Wilderness

We’ll wake up on our private island in the Limpopo before we head out to explore the Koro conservancy. The elephant paths and jeep tracks take us between the waterholes and viewpoints to our bush breakfast spot. From here, we walk back down to the flowing paths beneath the giant Mashatu trees. After a relaxing afternoon, we’re off for a special sundowner on our last Botswana evening.

Depart - Johannesburg

We love getting in one more walk before we depart. A quick coffee and we’re off for a final walk of the Central Tuli Reserve. Then it’s time for our journey back into South Africa as we cross the Platjan border post and head back to Johannesburg.

Morning Walk (optional): 1.5hrs.
