Your Tanzania safari begins as you are warmly greeted by your private safari guide and settle into your safari vehicle for the scenic drive to Tarangire National Park. Travel through the Tanzanian countryside as the landscape gradually gives way to the beautiful wilderness of Tarangire. Upon arrival, check into your safari lodge or camp, enjoy lunch, and take some time to relax before heading out to begin exploring the park.
Over the next two days, enjoy guided game drives through Tarangire’s rolling savannas, winding river valleys, and landscapes dotted with enormous baobab trees. The park is especially famous for its impressive elephant herds, but you’ll also search for lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo, gazelles, and an incredible variety of birdlife. Between game drives, return to your lodge for meals, relaxation, and time to simply enjoy the sights and sounds of the African bush.

After breakfast, continue your journey toward the spectacular Ngorongoro Conservation Area, traveling through the beautiful Tanzanian countryside and into the lush crater highlands. Arrive at your safari camp in time to check in and enjoy lunch before descending nearly 2,000 feet to the crater floor for an exciting afternoon game drive. Explore this remarkable natural sanctuary in search of lions, elephants, buffalo, zebras, wildebeest, hippos, hyenas, and the endangered black rhino.
The following morning, descend once again into the Ngorongoro Crater for an extended morning game drive, when wildlife is often at its most active. Explore the crater’s grasslands, forests, wetlands, and freshwater pools before returning to your camp for lunch. Spend the afternoon relaxing at camp and taking in the spectacular panoramic views from above the crater—a perfect opportunity to slow down and enjoy one of Africa’s most extraordinary landscapes.

After breakfast, continue your journey toward the legendary Serengeti National Park, traveling through Tanzania’s spectacular landscapes before arriving at your safari camp in time for lunch. Settle into your accommodations, relax, and enjoy the surroundings before heading out with your private safari guide for your first afternoon game drive across the Serengeti’s vast plains.
The following day, enjoy both morning and afternoon game drives, returning to camp between adventures for lunch and time to relax. Search for lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo, and countless other species as your guide explores different areas of the park. Each game drive offers a new experience, from dramatic predator sightings to enormous herds moving across one of Africa’s most iconic landscapes.

Day 7-9

From Safari to the Beaches of Zanzibar
After your final morning in the Serengeti, transfer to the nearby airstrip and board your flight to the tropical island of Zanzibar. Watch the landscapes of Tanzania pass below before arriving along the beautiful Indian Ocean coastline. Upon arrival, you’ll be welcomed and privately transferred to your beach resort, where white sand, turquoise water, swaying palms, and the warm Indian Ocean provide the perfect contrast to your days on safari.
Spend the next three days entirely at your leisure, with plenty of time to slow down and enjoy everything your resort has to offer. Relax beside the pool, stroll along the beach, swim in the warm ocean, enjoy wonderful meals, or simply find a quiet place to take in the tropical surroundings. Optional excursions and activities can also be arranged, but these days are intentionally yours to relax, recharge, and enjoy paradise.

Farewell to Africa
Enjoy a final leisurely morning in Zanzibar, with time for breakfast and one last opportunity to take in the beautiful tropical surroundings of your resort. Depending on your flight schedule, relax by the pool, take a final walk along the beach, or simply enjoy the peaceful Indian Ocean views before preparing for your departure.
At the appropriate time, your driver will meet you at the resort for your private transfer to Zanzibar International Airport. As your Tanzania adventure comes to an end, leave with incredible memories of Tarangire’s elephants, the wildlife of Ngorongoro, the endless plains of the Serengeti, and the beautiful beaches of Zanzibar.
