You will be welcomed by your Gorilla Explorers safari guide and then transferred to Murchison Falls National Park. This is a long drive of approximately 6-7 hours, so it’s essential to start early.
On the way, you will stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for rhino tracking. This sanctuary is the only place in Uganda where you can see rhinos in the wild. Enjoy a guided walking safari to observe these magnificent creatures. After your visit, continue to Murchison Falls National Park and check into your lodge for an overnight stay. Depending on the time of arrival, you may have the opportunity to go on an evening game drive.

Day 2

Kick off your day with an exhilarating game drive in the park, where you will spot elephants, lions, giraffes, and a variety of other wildlife. This Murchison Falls safari goes beyond the land—prepare for a rejuvenating boat trip on the iconic River Nile in the afternoon. Keep your eyes peeled; you’ll have the opportunity to see crocodiles, hippos, and an impressive array of rare birds. One of the trip’s highlights will be witnessing the merging of the River Nile and Lake Albert.
Experience the sheer power of the falls as the spray invigorates your senses and the thunderous roar of the water captivates you. Following the boat trip, you’ll hike to the renowned "Top of the Falls," where you can absorb the stunning views of Murchison Falls along the Nile River—this is the perfect opportunity for you to capture breathtaking photographs. After an action-packed day, we will return to our lodge for dinner and a restful night’s sleep.

Day 3
Transfer to Kibale National Park

After enjoying an early morning breakfast, we will transfer to Kibale National Park for an exciting chimp trekking experience the following day. As we travel south, we will take in the stunning views of the Ugandan countryside while leaving Murchison Falls National Park behind. Our route will pass through the key towns of Hoima and Fort Portal, and we expect to arrive at Kibale in the early evening, ready to continue our adventure.

After a delicious breakfast, we will set off for the enchanting Kibale Forest, a vibrant tapestry of emerald green that beckons us to discover its secrets. As we venture into this lush wilderness, we'll seek out the playful chimpanzees in their natural habitat, swinging gracefully from branch to branch.
Later in the day, embark on a leisurely boat cruise along the picturesque Kazinga Channel, a natural waterway that connects the serene Lake George with the expansive Lake Edward. This relaxing excursion offers a fantastic opportunity to witness the vibrant ecosystem; watch as playful hippos bask in the sun and cool off in the water, while sleek crocodiles sunbathe along the banks. The channel is also a haven for bird enthusiasts, with a diverse array of avian species filling the skies and tree branches, making this an unforgettable experience for nature lovers.

Start your day with an exhilarating early morning game drive in the stunning Queen Elizabeth National Park, a gem of Uganda known for its rich biodiversity. As the sun rises, keep your eyes peeled for majestic elephants roaming freely, powerful lions lounging in the shade, elusive leopards stealthily moving through the bushes, and massive buffalo herds grazing peacefully.

Day 6
Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi
Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi
In the early morning, after breakfast, you will head to the park headquarters for a briefing on gorilla trekking. During this briefing, you will be assigned a gorilla family and then begin your trek into the forest. The trek can take anywhere from 2 to 8 hours, depending on the location of the gorillas.
Please note that gorilla trekking can be physically demanding, so a certain level of physical fitness is required. Once you locate the gorillas, you will have one hour to observe them and take photographs. Although this may seem like a short amount of time, the experience will be unforgettable.
Optional activities after the gorilla Trekking include visiting the Batwa (pygmy community) or community walk.

Day 7

After enjoying a hearty breakfast at the lodge, your adventure will continue as you embark on the journey back to Entebbe Airport for your departure. This scenic drive, which takes approximately eight to nine hours, offers numerous opportunities for rest and exploration. Along the way, you can anticipate charming lunch breaks at local eateries where you can savor traditional Ugandan dishes.
As you traverse the picturesque landscapes, your route will take you through lush valleys and rolling hills, with occasional stops to capture the stunning views of Uganda’s natural beauty. Your experienced guide will share insights about the region's flora and fauna, enriching your travel experience.
As your seven-day safari comes to a close, your guide will ensure that you arrive at the airport with ample time to check in for your planned departure, leaving you with memories of the extraordinary wildlife and captivating culture you encountered during your journey.
