Mwanza to Serengeti

Mwanza to Serengeti

This safari has been curated to offer you the best of East Africa’s wildlife, while also ensuring your comfort, safety, and a relaxed pace that allows you to fully enjoy each national park experience.

Our journey begins in Mwanza, a city on the southern shore of Lake Victoria. After meeting our guide, we set off on a scenic drive toward Serengeti National Park.

In just under two hours, we reach the western Ndabaka Gate and enter the park—wildlife starts appearing almost immediately. This region is known for the Grumeti River, one of the best places to see some of the largest Nile crocodiles. Along the way, we encounter resident wildlife, including herds of wildebeest and zebra, as well as predators like lions and cheetahs.

We enjoy our packed lunch under the shade of a tree, taking in the view and the sounds of the bush.

As the sun begins to set, we make our way to our accommodation for a hearty dinner and a peaceful night’s rest in Serengeti's newest and luxurious lodges.
