This day is dedicated to chimpanzee trekking. After an early breakfast, proceed to the park headquarters for a briefing and to meet your guides. The chimpanzee trek will last between 2 to 5 hours, depending on the location of the chimpanzee communities. You will have the unique opportunity to observe these fascinating primates in their natural habitat.

In the afternoon, you will visit the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary. This community-run project offers a guided walk through the swamp, where you will spot various bird species, primates, and other wildlife. The trek begins as you hike into the dense forest, following narrow trails through towering trees and thick underbrush. The trek's difficulty varies, depending on the location of the gorilla family, with some paths requiring stamina to navigate steep hills.

Once you locate a family of gorillas, you will enjoy an unforgettable hour observing them in their natural habitat. This unique experience allows you to witness their social interactions and playful behaviors up close.
