Nairobi - Masai Mara National Reserve

After breakfast at your hotel in Nairobi, your professional guide will pick you up and transfer you from the Nairobi region to the Masai Mara, with lunch en route. You will drive through the dramatic Great Rift Valley, stopping briefly at the viewpoint to take photos of the stunning valley. From here you’ll continue to Masai Mara National Reserve, part of the vast Serengeti plains, which are famous for the spectacular Great Wildebeest Migration and home to the “Big Five:” lion, elephant, leopard, buffalo, and rhino. Upon arrival, you’ll proceed for an evening game drive to track various animal species and birds with your driver-guide. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the camp.

Masai Mara National Reserve

The second day is a special one. It includes a full day of game viewing as well as optional activities like a visit to a Maasai village and a hot air balloon safari. For the balloon safari, you will rise at dawn to be airborne just before sunrise, followed by a champagne breakfast. After breakfast, enjoy game viewing through the afternoon. You can also choose to visit the Maasai community in the afternoon. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the camp.
