Day 1
Set off from Kampala towards the slopes of Mount Elgon and the Sipi Falls area. The drive of approximately 6–7 hours passes through some of Uganda’s most beautiful highland scenery. A lunch stop is made en route. Sipi Falls is one of Uganda’s most spectacular and least crowded natural attractions — a series of three waterfalls that cascade down the dramatic western escarpment of Mount Elgon in the Kapchorwa District. Your professional local guide leads a hike along footpaths that wind through traditional Sebei farming villages. The trail connects all three falls in sequence, each offering a distinct character and viewing experience. First Falls The tallest of the three, plunging over 100 metres into a mist-filled gorge forming one of the most exhilarating natural swimming spots in Uganda. Second Falls A graceful, fan-shaped cascade framed by lush vegetation offering sweeping panoramas across the Karamoja plains. Third Falls The most serene secluded of the three surrounded by forest.
