1-Day Mikumi Safari via Sgr Train & Jeep from Dar

At 04:00 early morning pick-up from your hotel in Dar es Salaam, Your day begins early with a hotel transfer to the SGR station.
At 06:00 – Depart Dar by SGR train
Board the modern train and enjoy scenic views of the countryside on your way to Morogoro.
Arrival in Morogoro meet your safari driver-guide at the station and begin a 2-hour transfer to Mikumi National Park by private 4x4 vehicle.
Enter Mikumi National Park for game drive across the Mkata Floodplain. Look out for elephants, zebras, wildebeests, giraffes, lions, buffalo, and more. Enjoy the changing landscapes and wildlife photo opportunities.
At 13:00 Enjoy a bush lunch in one of the picnic spots, surrounded by the sounds of nature.
After lunch Continue Explore more sections of the park, including hippo pools and birding areas.

15:30 Drive back comfortably through the hills, passing small villages.
At 18:15 Board Morogoro SGR station catch the evening train back to Dar es Salaam.
Arrival in Dar & transfer to your hotel.
