Today, you will be arriving at the Jomo Kenyatta Airport. You will be met there by our representative and later transferred to your hotel for lunch or dinner, on your arrangement and overnight. Your stay will be at the Best Western Meridian Hotel (Booked on a Bed and Breakfast).

Day 2
Nairobi to Lake Elementaita

Today, you have a morning departure to Lake Elementaita, arriving in the mid-morning. You will go for a bird walk to try and identify species like Glossy ibis, Black heron, Red billed Teal, and Black tailed Godwit, among others. Later, you will stop to have lunch at Jacaranda Lake Elementaita Lodge. You will go out again after lunch for another bird walk until dinner time. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at Jacaranda Lake Elementaita Lodge.

Day 3
Elementaita - Lake Naivasha

After breakfast, you will depart from Elementaita for a scenic drive through the Great North Road to Lake Naivasha. We should be arriving by mid-morning to fit in a bird walk before lunchtime. Lunch will be served at Naivasha Leisure Apex. Lake Naivasha is very close to Lake Nakuru and only 65 miles from Nairobi. It is unique in that it is a freshwater Lake. It was declared a bird sanctuary in 1967 and supports pastoral industries of wine and flowers. During our full-day trip to Lake Naivasha, we will study the birds of the region, such as herons, fish eagles, ospreys, black crakes, and lily-trotters. Dominated by the shadow of Mt. Longonot, few lakes in the world have a more spectacular setting than Naivasha. Lake Naivasha, being set on the floor of the Great Rift Valley, is home to an incredible variety of species. Over 450 species have been recorded here. Your dinner and overnight stay are at Leisure Apex.

Day 4
Naivasha to Lake Nakuru National Park

After breakfast, you'll depart for Lake Nakuru National Park, also known as the pink Heart of Kenya, because of the millions of flamingos that cover the lake with pink. You will have an afternoon wildlife/bird viewing. Later, you'll have dinner, and an overnight stay will be at the Chester hotel.

Day 5

Today, you will spend the whole day bird watching at the park. If you are lucky, you may see the sky leopard before returning for lunch at the lodge. In the afternoon, you will have some time to relax before embarking on your late afternoon game drive to try and capture what was not seen during the day. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the Chester Hotel.

Day 6

After breakfast, you'll drive across the floor of the Great Rift Valley to the Mara National Reserve. Masai Mara is the northern portion of the Great Plains ecosystem in neighboring Tanzania, called Serengeti. It is a home to the "big five": lion, buffalo, rhino, leopard, and elephant, as well as cheetah, zebra, giraffe, and vast herds of plain antelope and numerous other wildlife. Our accommodation for the night will be at the Enchoro wildlife camp. Set in the Oloolaimutia valley, the lodge blends in perfectly with its surrounding hillside landscape. After lunch, you will have some time to relax and perhaps take a dip in the pool. You will depart with your driver guide for an afternoon game drive in search of the Big Five. As the sun starts to dip into the horizon, it will be the perfect time to photograph the beautiful Mara rolling plains. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at Enchoro Wildlife Camp.

From 6:00 am to 6:20 am, you'll have tea or coffee. At 6:30 am to 8:30 am, you'll have an early morning game drive, then return for breakfast. From 10:00 am to noon, you'll have a mid-morning game drive. From 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm, you'll have lunch, and from 3:30 pm to 6:30 pm, you'll enjoy an afternoon game drive. From 7:30 to 8:00 pm, you'll have entertainment of Maasai dance and talks on Maasai culture in the lounge (on specific days). From 8:00 pm to 9:30 pm, you'll have dinner and an overnight stay at Enchoro.
