After breakfast, you will depart for a full day game drive in Tarangire National Park, located approximately 120 km from Arusha a scenic 2-hour drive through the Northern Safari Circuit. Though it is the sixth-largest park in Tanzania, Tarangire is a hidden gem that offers far more than meets the eye. The park is famous for its vast herds of elephants, iconic baobab trees, and year-round birdwatching opportunities, with over 500 species recorded. As you drive through the savannah, take time to observe not only the large game but also the fascinating smaller creatures that make this ecosystem thrive. Expect to see lions, zebras, giraffes, and various antelope species, all drawn to the life-giving Tarangire River. In the late afternoon, after a rewarding day of exploration, you will head toward your lodge in Karatu. Afterward, your driver-guide will pick you up for a full-day game drive in the iconic Serengeti National Park. If you love wildlife, this is the ultimate destination. Home to around 3,000 lions thought to inspire Disney’s “The Lion King” the Serengeti offers incredible lion sightings, as these majestic cats often rest under trees for up to 20 hours a day. Alongside lions, you’ll encounter bush elephants, Cape buffalo, kori bustards, Fischer’s lovebirds, and a rich diversity of wildlife. As the day winds down, return to your lodge or camp to relax, enjoy dinner, and rest for the night.

Have an early breakfast before driving 190 km to the Ngorongoro Crater, often called the 8th Wonder of the World and “Africa’s Garden of Eden.” This vast volcanic caldera is a stunning natural sanctuary filled with grasslands, forests, and swamps. The crater floor’s permanent water sources sustain over 25,000 large mammals, including lions, leopards, black rhinos, hyenas, zebras, waterbucks, baboons, and more. After a full day of wildlife viewing in this breathtaking setting, you’ll ascend from the crater and drive back to your hotel in Arusha for relaxation, dinner, and overnight.
