Upon arrival in Arusha, you will be warmly welcomed and transferred to Planet Lodge for an overnight stay. Nestled in a calm and green setting, the lodge offers a comfortable place to relax and prepare for your safari. Enjoy dinner and a restful night as you get ready for your exciting journey the following day to Tarangire National Park, known for its large elephant herds and iconic baobab trees.

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Tarangire National Park is well known for its biodiversity, including large elephant herds, and features a diversity of landscapes, from seasonal swamps to savannah, with the Tarangire River winding its way through the parklands. You may have the experience of seeing a lion stalking its prey or leopards relaxing in the trees above.

Once the game drive is complete, you will return to your lodge for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.

Ngorongoro crater

After breakfast at 7:00 am, enjoy the morning drive to Ngorongoro. Your accommodation is located a few minutes from the Ngorongoro gate.

This park is among the UNESCO World Heritage Sites and features the largest uninterrupted caldera in the world, making it one of the Natural Wonders of Africa. It is home to about 30,000 large mammals year-round, including buffaloes, lions, elephants, cheetahs, and rhinos, as well as many varieties of birds, such as flamingos, eagles, and buzzards. Be prepared to see many animals in a short period.
