As we arrive at Pian Upe Game Reserve, we will have the opportunity to explore the magnificent wildlife that calls this reserve home. The evening game drive will provide us with the chance to see a variety of animals in their natural habitat, including elephants, lions, and giraffes.
After the game drive, we will go back to our lodge for dinner and relaxation as you prepare for the next day activities.

On this day of the trip starts with an early morning game drive in the beautiful Pian Upe Game Reserve. As we explore the reserve, we will have the chance to spot a variety of more wildlife in their natural habitat, including elephants, giraffes, and antelopes.
After our game drive, we will continue our journey to Moroto, with a leisurely drive and a stop for lunch along the way. Upon arrival in Moroto, we will check in, relax and later visit the manyattas of the Karimojong people, traditional homesteads made of clay and grass. Here, we will have the unique opportunity to see firsthand how these indigenous people live and sleep.
This experience will offer us valuable insight into the customs and way of life of the Karimojong, providing a deeper understanding of their rich heritage and traditions. It promises to be a fascinating and eye-opening experience that will enrich our journey through this remote and majestic region of Uganda.

Today, we have an exciting day planned ahead. After breakfast, we will fuel up for the day ahead, as we drive you to the nearby Tapeth community.
The drive will not only be a scenic journey through the beautiful countryside, but also a great way to connect with nature and appreciate the local way of life. We will drive through lush fields, picturesque villages, and friendly locals waving at us along the way.
Once we arrive at the Tapeth community, we will be welcomed with open arms by the villagers. We will have the unique opportunity to immerse ourselves in their culture by spending the night with them. This cultural exchange will allow us to truly experience their way of life in a meaningful and authentic way.
Throughout the evening, we will participate in various traditional activities, such as singing, storytelling, and dancing. We will learn about their customs and traditions, and gain insight into the rich history of their community.

Today will be a leisurely day, giving you the chance to relax and rejuvenate after the excitement of the previous days. The morning will start with the Tapeth community breakfast ritual, where you can connect with locals and enjoy a delicious meal.
After breakfast, you will be driven back to the lodge. Once you arrive, the day is yours to spend as you wish. You can choose to take a village walk, exploring the local surroundings and learning more about the communities. Alternatively, you can simply relax at your lodge, soaking in the peaceful atmosphere and preparing for the adventures that await you on the next day of the trip.
Using this day to unwind and recharge will allow you to fully appreciate the unique experiences and cultural immersion that the trip has to offer. Take this opportunity to slow down, take in the sights and sounds of the village, and prepare yourself for the exciting adventures that lie ahead.
