1-Day Volcanoes Tour

Prepare for an extraordinary adventure in Volcanoes National Park with an early start at 4:00 am. Your day begins with a packed breakfast and a scenic 2-3 hour drive to the park. Upon arrival at Kinigi Park headquarters, you’ll receive a comprehensive briefing from the park warden about the gorilla tracking experience. You’ll then be assigned to a gorilla group and head to the designated trekking starting point by 8:30 am.

The trek through lush forests to find the mountain gorillas typically lasts 2-3 hours. Once you encounter these majestic creatures, you’ll have up to an hour to observe and photograph them in their natural habitat. After this unforgettable experience, return to the vehicle for a transfer back, enjoy an en-route lunch, and head to the airport for a 5-6 pm departure.
