Upon arrival at Entebbe Airport or at your hotel of stay, our English-speaking tour driver-guide will pick you up and transfer you to Lake Mburo National Park, a 4-5 hour drive away. This smallest of Uganda's savannah parks is home to diverse wildlife, including giraffes, zebras, and over 350 bird species. After checking in, you can opt for a late afternoon game drive or relax and unwind in the evening.

After an early breakfast, an exciting guided walking safari in Lake Mburo National Park awaits, accompanied by an armed ranger. This unique experience offers an opportunity to explore the park on foot. Keep an eye out for zebras, Rothschild's giraffes, elands, impalas, topis, buffaloes, and a variety of bird species as you walk through the savannah landscapes.

Following the walking safari, you depart Lake Mburo and journey to Queen Elizabeth NP, Uganda's most popular savannah park. You arrive at your lodge in time for lunch and a short period of relaxation. In the afternoon, you will embark on a memorable 2-hour boat cruise along the famous Kazinga Channel. The channel is renowned for its concentration of wildlife, offering close-up sightings of large pods of hippos, Nile crocodiles, buffaloes, elephants, and numerous waterbirds along the shores. It is widely regarded as one of the best wildlife-viewing experiences in East Africa. After the cruise, you return to the lodge to relax.

Day 3

You'll be up early and have your breakfast. You'll proceed for a morning game drive in the Kasenyi plains and be on the lookout for Cape buffaloes, herds of elephants, plus lions, leopards (though hard to spot), among others. You return to the accommodation for some rest time and lunch. After lunch, you will head to Kyambura Gorge to spot Chimpanzees in the afternoon. Kyambura Gorge, located in Queen Elizabeth National Park, is home to a habituated chimpanzee community, where you'll hike through lush forests with an experienced guide, tracking these intelligent and social primates. As you trek, listen to the chimps' calls and once you find them, spend an hour observing their behavior, how they feed, and their interaction with each other. On return, an evening game drive awaits.

Day 4

After breakfast, you will head to Ishasha sector to spot tree-climbing lions (60-70% chance). You'll enjoy the picturesque view if you're lucky. Then, you continue to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, check in at your accommodation, and relax for the gorilla trekking experience the next day. Optional: join a lion tracking expedition with a predator research team for an extra fee of $120.

After breakfast, you will head to the rangers' post for a briefing. Then, you trek into Bwindi Forest to encounter mountain gorillas. You will be allowed to spend an unforgettable hour with these gentle giants. Afterwards, you will transfer to Lake Bunyonyi, surrounded by lush hills and 29 scenic islands.
