Upon arrival at Entebbe Airport or at your hotel of stay, our English-speaking Tour Driver-guide will pick you up and transfer you to Lake Mburo National Park, a 4-5 hour drive away. This smallest of Uganda's savannah parks is home to diverse wildlife, including giraffes, zebras, and over 350 bird species. After checking in, you can opt for a late afternoon game drive or relax and unwind in the evening.

Day 2
Enjoy a walking safari in Lake Mburo NP, then transfer to Queen Elizabeth NP

After breakfast, you will be on a guided morning walk in Lake Mburo NP with an armed ranger, spotting zebras, giraffes, eland, and more. Take in the stunning views of Lake Mburo from the hilltop trail. Then, head to Queen Elizabeth NP, arriving in time for lunch and a short rest. Later, enjoy a scenic 2 hour boat cruise along Kazinga Channel, followed by an optional evening game drive or relaxation at the lodge.

Day 3

Be up early and have your breakfast. Proceed for a morning game drive in the Kasenyi plains and be on the look for Cape buffalos, herds of elephants plus lions, leopards (though hard to spot) among others. Return to the accommodation for some rest time and lunch. After lunch, you will head to Kyambura Gorge to spot Chimpanzees in the afternoon. Kyambura Gorge located in Queen Elizabeth National Park, is home to a habituated chimpanzee community, where you'll hike through lush forests with an experienced guide, tracking these intelligent and social primates. As you trek, listen to the chimps' calls and once you find them, spend an hour observing their behavior, how they feed, and their interaction with each other. On return, an evening game drive awaits.

Day 4
Depart Queen Elizabeth for Bwindi via the Ishasha Sector to spot tree-climbing lions

After breakfast, head to Ishasha sector to spot tree-climbing lions (60-70% chance). Enjoy the picturesque view if you're luck. Then, continue to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, check-in at your accommodation, and relax for the gorilla trekking experience the next day. Optional: join a lion tracking expedition with a predator research team for an extra fee of $120.

Day 5

After breakfast, head to the rangers' post for a briefing, then trek into Bwindi Forest to encounter mountain gorillas. You will be allowed to spend an unforgettable hour with these gentle giants. Afterwards, transfer to Lake Bunyonyi, surrounded by lush hills and 29 scenic islands.

Day 6
Transfer to Entebbe Airport

Enjoy a relaxed breakfast with stunning views of Lake Bunyonyi's islands. Then, head back to Entebbe, stopping at the Equator for lunch and photos, arriving in time for your late afternoon/evening flight.
