Upon landing at Hoedspruit Airport, a friendly driver will greet you for your private direct transfer to Arathusa Safari Lodge. The scenic road journey takes about 1.5 to 2 hours, winding through the bushveld until you reach the lodge entrance. You’ll be welcomed by the Arathusa team and shown to your suite. The lodge is renowned for its warm, family-run hospitality and luxurious touches. There are water-facing suites (with stunning views of the waterhole), all which are en-suite, air-conditioned, and thoughtfully equipped for your comfort.

After settling in, enjoy high tea before heading out on your afternoon game drive. Safari vehicles are limited to eight guests each for an intimate experience led by expert rangers and trackers. Sabi Sands is famed for its Big 5, especially leopards.

After settling in, head to the dining area for a delicious lunch. The lodge often offers meals that highlight local flavors, giving you a taste of the region. Post-lunch, get ready for your afternoon game drive. Make sure you have your camera, binoculars, and water bottle.
